1. Director of IT, Asia
Job Description:
-
Report to Director of IT (based in US).
-
In conjunction with US Corp Director, devise and implement corporate strategy for implementing IT related projects.
-
Manage day to day IT activities and issues within Asia region.
-
Responsible for overseeing and directing Internet / Intranet applications development.
-
Manage programmers, graphics designers, and contractors to meet product development and support requirements.
-
Oversee and recommend technical direction to senior management.
-
Establish forward looking project plans, direct and inspect to insure a successful, quality, on time product delivery.
-
Coordinate multi-organizational projects to insure they are implemented efficiently, on time and within standards.
-
Responsible for hiring, training, and coaching personnel in Asia.
-
Report problems, project status, and direction issues to direct report clearly, concisely and in a timely manner.
-
Analyze and make recommendations for improvements to meet customers needs, revenue targets and to maintain a competitive edge.
-
Volunteer resources to meet company objectives.
-
Assure that staff is in compliance with company policies and procedures.
-
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum of 8 years of overall IT experience, with at least the past 3 in a leadership role.
-
Minimum of 3 years paid Internet or Intranet development experience.
-
Experience managing multiple organizations or projects and working with portal applications is a plus.
-
Visual Basic.NET, ASP.NET (2.0), SQL2000/2005 experience required
-
A strong understanding of process driven software development, with experience in establishing program infrastructure and directing Internet and Intranet applications.
-
Prior experience managing infrastructure related components of an IT environment, including servers, networks, security, telecom, databases and desktop technology.
-
Must possess strong planning, management, supervisory, problem solving, conflict resolution, leadership, and communication skills.
-
Must be able to work a flexible and extended schedule as required to meet objectives.
-
Must be able to work independently and be self-driven to accomplish goals and objectives
-
Must be able to work in Asia.
2. SAP Functional Consultant (FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, PM/QM, HR)
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in related field.
-
SAP Consultants with 3 + years practical experience and at least 2 full cycle SAP implementation.
-
Possess priority setting, analytical, problem solving, and leadership skills
-
Self-motivated and hard working individuals
-
Good command of English
-
SAP Certification and cross functional knowledge across different modules will be an advantage
-

1. Software Engineer
Software Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting Thomson Reuters desktop applications on the MS Windows platform and other server-sided software on the Unix/ MS Windows platform.
Qualifications:

Graduate from Computer Science, Computer Engineer or any related field

Experience on Microsoft Windows NT and/or Unix using C++, Visual Basic, relational database system, the Win32 API and OCX architecture

Familiarity with the Microsoft Visual Studio development environment and/or Unix development environment

Experience with the Software Engineering Institute Capability Maturity Model is a plus

Good written and verbal English communication skills
2. Quality Assurance
Quality Assurance is responsible for designing and writing test plans, executing test cases, reporting and analyzing test failures and developing software to the testing process and creating the function and performance in software testing on a wide variety of operating systems.
Qualifications:

Graduate from Computer Science, Computer Engineer or any related field

Experience in software testing with strong knowledge of Windows or Unix operating systems

Experience or knowledge in Perl or Shell script, Javascript

Knowledge in Financial knowledge is a plus

Logical thinking, positive attitude and detail-oriented person

3. Support Consultant
Support Consultant is responsible for investigating, analyzing and classifying the technical support issues requested by Global Client
Qualifications:

Graduate from Computer Science, Computer Engineer or any related field

Experience in Software Development

Understand C/C++ or Java code or write SQL command

Knowledge and skills in Linux, Solaris and/or Microsoft Windows Family
