1. Corporate Client Manager (Thai/Japanese)

Responsibilities :-

  • Working in a team to provide strategic and operational recruitment solutions for our clients
  • Nurture trustworthy relationships with these leading global organizations and develop them into our key strategic partners
  • Expand frontiers by developing new business opportunities and achieving meaningful targets through account management activities

Requirements :-

  • Degree in any discipline with at least 5 years of sales/customer service/key account management/project management/ business development experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Written and spoken English proficiency in a must
  • Independent, innovative and resourceful

2. Regional Consultant/Project Deliver

Responsibilities :-

  • To use marketing and business knowledge to extend company contracts
  • To identify, develop and successfully deliver the best fit candidate in search project and deliver it beyond clients’ expectation within the agreed timeline
  • To assist clients by first understanding their corporate culture, objectives, and business structures
  • To perform in-depth market research, interviews, and present the overall finding and delivery precise human capital solution to our client

Requirements :-

  • Degree in any discipline with at least 5 years of sales/customer service/key account management/project management/ business development experience
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills
  • Energy & enthusiasm

Asia Web Direct (AWD)

Position Announcement:

1. Client Service Agent (Bangkok based)
2. Content Manager (Bangkok based)
3. Business Analyst (Phuket based)
4. Senior Developer (Phuket based)

At the forefront of online travel distribution since 1993, Asia Web Direct (AWD) a member of Wotif Group, provides web-based hotel reservations, travel information and related services to travellers worldwide – one of the first companies in Southeast Asia to venture into this new realm of travel that would change the face of the industry forever.

A small Phuket-based team launched our first dedicated destination portal, Phuket.com in 1995, with little more than a vision to excel, and an unshakable commitment to set new parameters. And so they did, by becoming pioneers in online travel distribution.

Through the years AWD offices were opened in Bangkok, Samui, Krabi, Kuala Lumpur and – most recently – London to serve our growing number of customers and business partners alike. We’ve been continuously adding new websites to our portfolio, covering destinations all over Southeast Asia, while the very popular reservation portals LateStays.com and SmartStays.com signaled a new era of global expansion.

1. Client Service Agent (Bangkok based)

Job Description:

  • Contact suppliers via phone and email.
  • Contact customers to suggest alternative hotels if a reservation cannot be secured.
  • To find alternative hotels, check rates and room types for customers via email.
  • To capture booking data manually into online systems.
  • To maintain good working relationships within the department as well as with other departments.
  • Assist customers with enquiries about their travel itinerary by telephone, email and an online chat interface.

Qualification:

  • Male or Female
  • Bachelor Degree in any field.
  • At least 1 year experience in the hospitality or tourism industry. Knowledge of an e-commerce environment would be advantageous.
  • Good command of English (both speaking and writing).
  • Able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
  • Good typing skills for both Thai and English (at a minimum speed of 40-50 words per minute).
  • Computer and Internet literate with knowledge of Outlook software.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours (including night shift or on weekends).
  • Pleasant personality, service-minded, motivated, confident and a team player.  

2. Content Manager

Responsibilities/Job Description:

  • Overseeing Quality control and maintenance of existing website content
  • Making arrangement for creation and sourcing new additional content for existing portal sites
  • Final proof reading of newly created pages or site prior to uploading
  • Managing a team of Content Writers

Requirements:

Essential Skills:

  • Native English speaker
  • Web writing/editing experience
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Fast proofreading
  • Good leadership skills
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Ability to write in commercial and corporate styles

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Asia and travel writing
  • Creative ability to proactively develop our site's content
  • High attention to detail
  • Photographic skills

3. Business Analyst (Phuket based)

Responsibilities :

  • A Business Analyst acts as a bridge between IT and business units.  The individual is expected to apply proven skills in communication, technical comprehension and problem-solving  to analyze and define solutions for business issues; provide technical recommendation and testing; execute the project by enforcing the schedules and project deadlines as approved by the management; as well as manage the changes in business tasks and workflows. 

4. Senior Developers  (Phuket based)

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and modify systems/programs to conform to system changes or to make improvements to existing program
  • Develop new systems/modules to work and integrate with existing systems
  • Design the database structure to work and integrate with the new module/existing systems
  • Test and debugs system modules/programs as assigned
  • Support and train users to use the system as assigned
  • Conduct researches on the appropriate technology to use in system development team

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experiences in application development using PHP, MySQL, XML
  • Experiences with AJAX
  • At least 3-year working experiences as a system developer
  • Good knowledge of web technologies
  • Familiar with Search Engine Optimization concept
  • Working experiences on Google Maps
  • Experiences with content management systems, experiences with Drupal will be a major plus
