Scott Wilson has been active in Thailand since the early 1970's working on World Bank-funded highways and the Asian Institute of Technology campus near Bangkok. In 1992, a permanent office was established to undertake the design and construction supervision of the Laem Chabang Shipyard on the Eastern Seaboard.
In 1993, Scott Wilson Kirkpatrick (Thailand) Ltd was registered, and since then a full range of infrastructure and building projects have been undertaken, including Suvarnabhumi Airport, Rama 8 Bridge, Bangkok Underground (MRTA) and numerous industrial and commercial buildings.
Approximately 80 staff are permanently employed in Thailand with particular expertise in structural & building engineering and related disciplines such as M&E services, project management and commercial/contractual services.
As a cost effective centre of excellence, the Bangkok office services the Scott Wilson Group globally in Building Engineering services. As such the office is currently undertaking numerous projects in the Middle East, Gulf, Asian region and elsewhere.
1. M & E Engineer
About the Role:
-
Design Mechanical , Electrical system , Plumbing and drainage and Fire Protection system for buildings, factories, and infrastructure projects
-
Prepare design drawings & specifications for tendering and construction
-
Coordinate & design of Building Structures, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and drainage and fire protection system , etc )
-
Provide strongly supported evidence of our engineering capability to management and clients
You will be eager to take on responsibility while developing yourself as a Specialist in this field of construction. Developing a quality product will be one of your other goals. The company will provide all the support needed for you to achieve these objectives.
About You:
-
University graduate with Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical Engineer, Environmental Engineer or related field

Computer literate in software applications, such as M/S office (Word and Excel), AutoCAD and M&E, HAVC, design softwares
-
Self creativity and problem solving
-
Possess the license for professional engineer practice
-
Good team work spirit and willing to share experience with others in a supportive manner with good influencing skills
-
Able to communicate well with all levels of staff and good team player
-
Good command of spoken and written English
-
Open minded and able to come up with creative solution
2. Structural Engineer
About the Role:
You will be responsible for the structural design of buildings, civil design of road, drainage and other civil Site works. These designs will an integrated part of the overall design. You will develop these designs from the conceptual stage through to the construction stage in close coordination with our clients and other project team members.
You will be part of the Civil & Structural Design Department in our head office in Bangkok. Part of work can be carried out at the construction sites.
You will be eager to take on responsibility while developing yourself as a Specialist in this field of construction. Developing a quality product will be one of your other goals. The company will provide all the support needed for you to achieve these objectives.
About You:

University graduate with a Bachelor or Master degree in Structural/Civil Geotechnical Engineering

Sufficient knowledge of design codes for BS, ACI, AISC and EIT standards.

Computer literate in software applications, such as M/S office (Word and Excel), AutoCaD and structural analysis software ETAB, SAP and etc.

Self creativity and problem solving

Possess the license for professional engineer practice

Good team work spirit and willing to share experience with others in a supportive manner with good influencing skills

Able to communicate well with all levels of staff

Good command of spoken and written English

1. Finance Service Manager
Responsibilities:

Manage Tax Planning and Reporting to minimize tax exposure and maximize available opportunities while maintaining the company’s status as a good corporate citizen.

Direct and control the company secretarial function including the coordination of the Trade Practices Compliance program to ensure that statutory and shareholder requirements are met.

Identify and make recommendations to improve financial and internal controls and other business processes and practices

Manage and control company’s risk management program to ensure that the company’s profits and assets are adequately protected and that the program complies with KCC policies and procedures

Proactively work and collaborate with internal customers to ensure the type and quality of services provided support them in the achievement of company’s business objectives

SAP knowledge/experience would be advantageous
Qualifications:

Bachelor/Master Degree in Accounting.

Either CPA qualified or MBA

Strong leadership skills

2. Senior Power Plant Engineers
We are looking for 3 candidates who hold at least Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (1 Mechanical Engineer / 1 Electrical Engineer / 1 Civil Engineer) and have prior DESIGN and ENGINEERING experience in an office environment.
These 3 Engineers will work on power plant projects ranging in size from 10 MW to 1500 MW which consist of natural gas combine and simple cycle, cogeneration, coal, oil, bio-mass, and waste-to-energy. The Electrical engineer may work on transmission interconnections, substations, and electrical transmission and distribution systems. Projects will be located mainly in Thailand, but also in the surrounding countries, such as Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, etc.
Responsibilities:

Lead design and engineering role for power plant projects
-
Perform conceptual/basic engineering in an Owner’s Engineer role
-
Site selection
-
Major equipment selection (CT, ST, HRSG)
-
Conceptual plant layout
-
Heat/water balances
-
EPC Contract specification and negotiation
-
Write and review technical specifications for power plant equipment and systems
-
Perform and review calculations for equipment and systems
-
Design and review drawings (P&IDs, single line diagrams, general arrangements, etc.)
-
Perform equipment sizing and selection (including bid evaluation)
-
Project scheduling
-
Perform man-hour estimations and assist in proposal work
-
Coordinate with US headquarters office and client for engineering tasks
-
Perform technical feasibility studies and due diligence reports
Qualifications:
-
Experience mainly in the field of coal, biomass, gas (simple and combined cycles), power plants, co-generation facilities, transmission interconnections, substations, electrical transmission and distribution systems
-
Experience working with and creating layouts / calculations / technical specifications / single line diagrams / P&ID / heat balances etc., or project scheduling software knowledge (MS Project and Primavera)

Background in power plant design and engineering

Experiences in engineering software (AutoCad / MicroStation / Intergraph)
